This year the World Combat Games event (WCG) took place between 18-26 October at the grand Sankt Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex building. It was organized by Sport Accord, an organization which gathers 107 sports, olympic and non-olympic federations, including International Aikido Federation (IAF), which also has as a full member the Romanian Aikidio Aikikai Foundation (RAAF)

They say that strong essences are kept in tiny bottles and no one can contradict this saying, especially after meeting Adelina, aikidoka of Aikido Aikikai Galati.

This year as well, between 11 and 13 of October in Kiev, Ukraine, a seminar was held by the president of the Romanian Aikikai Aikido Foundation (RAAF), Sensei Dorin Marchis, 5 Dan Aikikai Aikido. A seminar where the lessons consisted of underlining the importance of the basic forms of the techniques, but also the differences that can be observed in the details.
I spoke with George Moroianu, dojocho of Aikido Aikikai Galati about the importance of clear basic techniques, but also about many important things part of the Way of an aikidoka. All of these we invite you to discover in the following interview.
I’ve often heard people say that a master makes complicated things seem simple. When I first saw Sensei Iulian Perpelici, 5 Dan Aikido Aikikai, on the tatami, I finally understood the profound meaning of this phrase.
When one practices something as beautiful and complex as Aikido, just for pleasure or passion, the art is never late to give back, to reward.

The official video of the Aikido demonstration held by Waka Sensei is now available on YouTube. The greatest Aikido seminar in the SouthEastern Europe ended with a set of demonstrations held by the sensei that were invited to conduct the trainings within this seminar.

Waka Sensei had Hino Terumasa, Dorin Marchis and Mihaita Deleanu as uke in this demonstration.

There are only a few days left till the International Aikido Seminar. The programme of the trainings that will be conducted by Waka Sensei, Christian Tissier Shihan, Ulf Evenas Shihan, Peter Goldsbury Sensei, John Rogers Sensei, Kei Izawa Sensei and Wilko Vriesman Sensei is as follows:
The autumn to come is more special than any other one due to Cluj Aikido Seminar, as well as to the meeting of the Directive Committee of the International Aikido Federation. The panel of the Masters that are coming to the Seminar is of great importance in the Martial Art of Harmony.

There are almost two months left till the most important Aikido event in the Eastern Europe. The Aikido seminar conducted by Waka Sensei and the meeting of the Directive Committee of the International Aikido Federation will occur in September, during the second week.

Waka Sensei, Mitsuteru Ueshiba by his name, is the direct descendant of the Founder of Aikido, O’Sensei Morihei Ueshiba. He is the one to continue the activity and the projects that had been passed on by the Founder and which are carried on now by his father, Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba.

The Romanian Aikikai Aikido Foundation will organize the most important Aikido seminar in the Eastern Europe between the 12th and the 14th of September 2014. The seminar will be conducted by Waka Sensei.
