Nippon Budokan Embukai-the Aikido event of the year

Embukai- the yearly general Aikido demonstration in Japan is undoubtedly the event of the year in terms of this unique martial art. It takes place annually at Nippon Budokan, a stadium which is 42 meters high and has an octagonal shape, and it is modeled after the Horyuji Temple in Nara (one of the architectural monuments of Japan). The arena is able to host over 14,000 people, and is almost entirely dedicated to t activities of martial arts, various championships and demonstrations of Kendo, Karate, Aikido, Kyudo, Naginata, Shorinji Kempo, etc..The demonstration takes place every year at the end of May, this year being the 46-century in which this event occurred, which was witnessed by a numerous RAAF delegation. The organization was typical Japanese (meaning impeccable), on the five available areas l different masters, some more and others less known and their disciples succeed one each other. It was something for every spectator, Aikido everywhere, you just needed to watch. The climax of this event was undoubtedly made by demonstration of Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba.
