"Arts...and art" charitable event in Oradea

“Arts… and art” Monday`s event, 14.12.2009 from the children and youth Theatre “Arcadia”, from Oradea, it was one throughout unique and impressive experience! I am convinced that I am not thy only participant whom remained etched in mind the image of this event: approximately 80 exponents (in generally and in martial’s arts) and around 350 spectators.
To have an idea about the atmosphere at the event, imagine the Arcadia`s theatre hall, with a capacity of 250 seats, full of spectators and the stage of the hall with 80 martial artists on it ready to put on a exhibition of their art. Like miss Sofia Laza said in a way that I really like “ Arts imply, no mater of the manifestation, learning one technique that will help you express your mind and soul.”
I must say that the event was organized by the aikidoka`s from Maya Vital Dojo, and of course with the help of sensei Dragos Radulescu, which I must thanks in the name of Oana and Bogdan, and in the name of all those presents at the event or those who was an interest in this type of event. At the same time I want to convey my appreciation to all the martial artists that took part at the event without any hesitation.
The purpose of all this was a funds raising for the children from “Ciresarii” orphanage. The first part of the event was dedicated to martial arts demos ((aikido, kempo, wushu, taekwondo, kyokushin, kick boxing, capoeira). The second part was filled by different art manifestation like poetry recital, dance, and a fashion show of Diana Dreghiciu.
Like sensei Dragos Radulescu told us the idea of the event was to demonstrate that martial arts can involve in this kind of art manifestation.
Being honest I must say that I was surprised to see many of those who participated at the martial arts demos, took part at the second part of the event.
I hope that this kind of manifestation will become a tradition, the idea to put martial arts in the same stage with other type of arts it`s simply meritorious. Congratulations!
