AS Aikikai Pitesti and Sensei Yoshimitsu Yamada in Barcelona

In March 2009 A.S. Aikido Aikikai Pitesti-branch of the RAAF participated with 2 practitioners - Udeanu Rafael and Pepenel Horatiu - at the International Aikido Seminar held in Barcelona Spain-with the extraordinary participation of the great master Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei 8 Dan AIKIKAI.
The seminar was organized by the Spanish Association of Aikido, and was held in the sports complex of the Polytechnic University of Barcelona, an impressive building, with multiple facilities and many facilities for practicing sports, where we were welcomed with warmth by president of the Association Sensei Michelle Feilen.
Training took place during three day,the work rythem was a repid one with 5 minutes break between the two hours of training. Even if we were only two people from the RAAF, we left a good impression, receiving congratulations every training from other practitioners of Aikido.
Of course we socialized with many practitioners from Spain, Colombia, Brazil, England and USA and bound new friendships, we review other Aikidoka that we met in Vienna and we had the opportunity to visit an amazing city like Barcelona.
Aikikai World Pitesti will continue if we are healthy  and can participate toa seminar in Switzerland.
